Communication for Development (C4D)

NAC aims to use social media and local radio stations as commonly used means among the youth to communicate and amplify interventions happening in the community. Under this component, NAC works with a pool of already trained and equipped 15 community journalists who collect, document, and publish content depending on the purpose of communication.  This component aims to

(i) Use social media to create more awareness about NAC’s interventions

(ii) amplify grass root information to shape and influence local government programs, policies, and interventions.

(iii) Inspire youth and youth leaders to act on key issues that communities find a priority. The component is managed by a programs officer who is supported by programs Assistants and community Journalists. We use both video, audio, and text to communicate.
