Nabasirye Janet is a vendor in Kamwanyi market. The 23-year-old had no idea about climate change and
its effects, until she met a team from the Network for Active Citizens. The team, according to Nabasirye,
sensitised her about the benefits related to mitigating effects of climate change and how she could do
so.
Nabasirye said: “The sensitisation I got made me appreciate the benefits of greening the environment;
I’m now sensitive to anything that affects the climate.”
